Destination ImagiNation

Destination ImagiNation, is an engaging after-school activity in which students work in teams to solve mind-bending challenges using creativity, teamwork, and problem solving, and present their solutions at local, state, and global tournaments.

Every year, DI reaches 100,000 students in the United States as well as more than 30 countries. Destination ImagiNation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with 1.3 million alumni and a global network of 35,000 volunteers.

Whyville

Launched in 1999, Whyville.net is the leading educational virtual world designed for children ages 8 to 15. The citizens of Whyville learn while having fun: they launch rockets and build robots, design vaccines and fashion, create music and start businesses, write newspaper articles and campaign for the Whyville Senate.

Created by scientists from the California Institute of Technology, Whyville combines research expertise in education with advanced simulation and virtual world technology to engage young users in learning and exploration.
