Congratulations to our FUTP 60 Student Champion, Aubrey, a 5th grader from Indio, CA on being selected as this year’s NFL PLAY 60 Super Kid. She will act as the official NFL PLAY 60 Ambassador and Good Morning America kid correspondent during Super Bowl LVI related activities. This is the 5th FUTP 60 student to be selected in the last eight years.
The NFL PLAY 60 selects a Super Kid based on how they stay active, make healthy choices and live the PLAY 60 lifestyle. Aubrey was selected by the NFL for her commitment to creating a healthier school community, volunteering to mentor younger students, lead NFL FLAG Games to encourage physical activity and participate in food drives to fight hunger in her community. A healthy lifestyle is important to Aubrey and she loves to encourage her peers to eat healthy, get in their 60 minutes, be motivated and energized!
Aubrey is part of an awesome FUTP 60 team at her school, which is led by her Program Advisor, Coach K! She and the team also have support from Program Advisors, Mr. Gutierrez and Mrs. Marinez as well as her school principal, Dr. McColl. Aside from being a rock-star for her school’s FUTP 60 program, Aubrey is active outside of school with dance and gymnastics and even started a running club. When she’s not busy with her activities, she loves watching her favorite NFL team the Las Vegas Raiders and Quarterback, Derek Carr.
During the week of Super Bowl LVI, Aubrey will be busy with a variety of events and activities, such as NFL Kids Day and/or NFL Honors and will hone her correspondent skills while interviewing members of the Super Bowl teams, additional players and celebrities throughout the week. She will also be recognized at the second half of Super Bowl on February 13th where she will throw out the game ball.
Check back often to learn more about Aubrey and follow her on her exciting journey to Super Bowl LVI in Inglewood, California!
