This year we had teams of both teachers and students from each of our five academies. Our teams consisted of five teachers and then five students from each academy to work together to log in the most steps from January to the middle of March. All participants could log in straight from the school's website to report their steps every week. We still encouraged participants to walk with a friend to help get extra steps. We also held "Walking Wednesdays" for 30 minutes after school and encouraged participants to bring someone from outside of the team to walk for those extra steps. Prizes were awarded for all participants, as well as for first, second and third place teams (academy). And then the academy that won received the out traveling FUTP 60 football to display in their academy office. We still offer our healthy grab and go snack options for all students and staff in the library.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and staff worked together as a team from each academy to log in steps weekly.
