Physical Activity Participation

The FUTP 60 team at Hamilton Middle School sponsored a Thanksgiving Turkey Trot. After we postponed the event due to miserable weather, we ended up with a beautiful Fall day for our 800 students and staff to trot together. We had a bonfire at the finish line, refueled with milk chugs from UDIM, and recognized fast finishers and Turkey Trot Spirit winners.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our awesome staff was super flexible in helping us with re-scheduling the event, which has now become a tradition at HMS.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

HMS recognizes that healthy, active students are better learners. The Fuel Up team has joined forces with our school's "Be The Good" team to create a physically, mentally and socially healthy place to learn and grow.
