5th Annual Milk Mustache Day
Along with the help of my Fuel Up to Play 60 team, consisting of 14 students in 1st grade through 5th grade, we worked on putting this fun event together.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The kids and I were thinking we would like to add something to our event this year and after many ideas, we decided to add a Moo Off!! Each class had a moo off in their class to pick a representative. During lunch, those kids then competed against each other and the whole grade voted on the winner!!! The prizes for the winners were large maroon (our school color) COWBELLS!! The kids had a blast!!

How did you accomplish your goals?

Our Fuel Up kids made morning announcements along with many posters and talked during their lunches to let the kids know what they needed to do for the day. Everyone in the school wore a mustache down to lunch that day in the color of their favorite flavor of milk. We had some crazy mustaches!!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Tthe kids also took a poll during lunch as well as offered a taste test of hot and cold lunchers so they could try the different flavors of milk that we offer. As expected, chocolate was again Westwoods' big winner followed by strawberry!!
