We have used the resources available to us through Fuel Up to Play 60 and created Physical Activity Break newsletters to our teachers. Each month we highlight what we are doing in PE and give about 10-15 new Brain Breaks to use each month in the classroom. Students are encouraged to eat healthy and stay active throughout the school day with multiple sources to help students understand the importance of staying active and healthy!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students created Brain Break videos and shared them in a Google drive with the staff so they can be used in classrooms all over the school. Students submitted their ideas to our wellness team for their favorite Brain Breaks to be included in our newsletters.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We will continue with our newsletters throughout the year and creating a Brain Break handbook for next year.
