A Healthy Breakfast for Riverchase Students

As part of the Jump Rope for Heart Challenge for 2015-2016, the students had to determine what items could constitute a healthy breakfast. They chose 2% milk, oatmeal, egg whites, low-fat yogurt, and orange juice. Once the students reached the fundraiser goal of $2500, the top five student fundraisers were allowed to pour the healthy breakfast over their physical education teacher while the rest of the student body watched and learned! It was a great lesson in both goal setting and a healthy breakfast!

How did you accomplish your goals?

The goal was set for fundraising and all the students pitched in to raise funds, along with their friends and families. They actually raised $200 more than the original goal of $2500.
