ABE Club Spectacular Smoothie Send-Off
Students from Atlantic Beach Elementary School were the recipe builders, ingredient chefs, Fender Blender riders, and servers for the delicious smoothies at our last FUTP 60 Club meeting. Our amazing business partner, The Bike Bus, built the kits, donated the bikes and came out to volunteer during the event. These smoothies were a smashing success. Thank you Dairy Council for funding our fitness fun!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Adults explained how to work and run the Fender Blender process. Students created their own recipes, mixed the ingredients, and served their fellow students.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

The Fender Blender will be put to use at major school wide events for years to come. Our business partnership with the Bike Bus has created lasting memories and sustainable fun for many future students to look forward to.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Made lists, purchased supplies, arranged to meet The Bike Bus for the kit to be set up before the event, and arranged a system for smoothie recipe creation during the event.
