Kindergarten students at Lovettsville Elementary collaborated and designed "active recess" ideas for their teachers to paint on the recess blacktop. They came up with some great ideas like a mini track, bulls-eye target with point values, pathways and alphabet/numbers line. The teachers spent a Saturday painting their ideas in bright colors.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The students led the way with their ideas, collaboration, and plan. The teachers painted what the students wanted. Everyone wins!
