Our school has started an afterschool running club on Wednesdays. We have about 100 children that stay after school and run for 30 minutes.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

It takes at least four adults to manage all the children and get them signed in. Our assistant principal designs the workout on Wednesdays. The children have the best time; they are all smiles.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We had to select an area to meet if the weather was not cooperative. So, the gym is where we decided. If it rains then we set up an obstacle course to maneuver through.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Having multiple adults willing to supervise and participate will ensure that our students always have a running club to enjoy.
