Our students took pride in getting those with speacial needs involved in everyday physical activity. Students began to show growth personally when it came to the safety and involvement of someone who is faced with a disadvantage. Students at this age are known for their lack of social interaction; however, this activity changed that outlook for the students.
How did students and adults work together as a team?
We created a daily activity that allowed students with disabilities the opportunity to participate and to lead.
How did you accomplish your goals?
By gaining the trust of students and motivating them to change someones life for the better.
How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?
