Student Leadership

Our leadership team did daily announcements for a week to promote FUTP 60 and to kick off our school year. Each day had a different theme: introduction to FUTP 60, physical activity, healthy foods, and review. Each day they gave the school a new challenge: do 20 push-ups, jog two laps around the trail at recess, play a new game at recess, etc. The students did a great job of researching ideas and facts for the announcements and they did a fantastic job of speaking and encouraging kids!

How did you accomplish your goals?

The leadership team accomplished this goal by working together with a couple other kids for their day of announcements. Some had to work with students from another grade so they had to find time in their schedules to get together to work on it.
