Access to Healthy Foods, Community Involvement, Student Leadership, Teamwork
Working together with the kitchen staff, Bruin Ambassadors for Fuel Up to Play 60, Andrew C. and Fernando N., were able to create a Milk Mustache Booth using Smoothies made by fellow students. The Smoothies were made using Milk, Yogurt, Oats, and Fruits.
Students were able to try different flavors and then take selfies of their Milk Mustache using a Selfie Board the Ambassadors made.
How did students and adults work together as a team?
Students worked with coaches and kitchen staff in creating different smoothies.
How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?
At the end of the presentation, fliers were given out with the ingredients and recipe used.
What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
Organizing the schedule of the kitchen staff to match our allotted time.
