Community Involvement, Physical Activity Participation, Success with Funds
Students were challenged to get 60 minutes of physical activity every day for two weeks. They had to log their activities and times on a tracking sheet. At the end of the two weeks, they had to turn in their tracking sheet. Any student who turned in a sheet and got 60 minutes of physical activity every day for the two weeks, received a FUTP 60 pencil and bracelet. Five students names were drawn to win a FUTP 60 t-shirt and football.
How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?
I enjoyed this challenge because it did not cost anything for the students to participate. I like that it made them pay attention to the amount of physical activity they were getting every day. This is definately a challenge that I will continue to do every school year.
