Physical Activity Participation

This year, teachers were challenged to give students more brain breaks throughout the school day. Many used GoNoodle, but some came up with their own routines. Not surprisingly, students were more engaged, more focused and able to concentrate better when given a chance to get their wiggles out.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Most teachers that tried it say they will definitely continue to use brain breaks in the future.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Teachers see better behavior and more engaged students when they take a few brain breaks during the day.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Teachers were willing to give it a try and students responded so well, most of them saw immediate benefits.
