Community Involvement

The Fuel Up to Play 60 Team at Betts Elementary organized the Hearts Food Drive. Students and Program Advisors worked together in organizing a two-week school wide food drive. Classes were challenged to collect the most non-perishable items. The top two classes then received extra recess time. The Fuel Up to Play 60 Team then gathered all of the donated food and delivered it to disadvantage families.

How did you accomplish your goals?

The students asked the whole student body to help with the donations.
