Students tried 8 different cheeses during a blind tasting contest. They then rated their favorite and also tried to name each cheese from a 20 cheese word bank.
Our student team reached out to local businesses and got 20 lbs of cheese donated for this event. The team spent 2 hours after school one night to cut all the cheese up and put it in unmarked ziplock containers for the contest.
Our school had a run away-winner with Marble Jack and last place for our middle school was Baby Swiss. Kids loved the contest and tried cheese like Gouda, Brick, and Sharp Cheddar.
How did students and adults work together as a team?
Students lead the Play and I as the adult just monitered the event for them.
