Students gained knowledge on various types of milk and the benefits of drinking milk. Students purchased milk and received a milk mustache. A milk trivia contest was held to test the students' knowledge of dairy in a fun and interactive way. Prizes were randomly awarded for correct answers to the trivia questions. Approximately 100 students participated in this successful Kickoff event.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

We used the World School Milk Day tools to educate the students on the value of drinking milk. The students learned the nutritional values of cow milk vs. milk alternatives such as coconut and almond milk.
