Ninety students in grades 2, 3, and 4 have been participating in an after-school Running Club. During Running Club, students have been completing obstacle courses, competing in relay races, running laps to prepare for a local race, and watching Fuel Up to Play 60 videos. The students are having fun while exercising with their classmates!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We will continue to hold different after-school clubs during the school year to promote the importance of exercise. Also, we plan to have a Fitness Night later in the school year.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Eight teachers ran the stations during each after school session. Students and teachers had to work together so that each station ran smoothly.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Teachers met ahead of time to plan out the stations. Students were given clear expectations so that they knew what to do.
