Our students at Boston Community Leadership Academy have advocated for healthy snacks and more breakfast options. We are happy that we are able to partner with Fuel Up to Play 60 for our Smoothie and Healthy Eating breakfast menu. We also have started a physical activity initiative where the students train after school and during the school day. I have shared a few of our workout segments on Instagram and Facebook with the #fueluptoplay60 #fuelgreatness. The students love to see themselves in action on social media. They have also created posters and put them all over the school to promote our smoothie tasting!!!! We are thankful to have partnered with Fuel Up to Play 60.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

We have a better awareness of what types of physical activities each student can attain as well as what are good and healthy food choices.
