My FUTP 60 Team students are being bold and asking their teachers if they can run brain boosters. They have loved doing them and teachers are so excited that our team is taking initiatives to help their classmates and get others excited about physical activity in the classroom!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our team met before school started for an hour. It showed their interest and dedication that they wanted to come to school early to get things done.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We made a list of what things I need to check with my principal about. My team has their own list of "to do's" and they are currently working on a commercial to put into our morning announcements about healthy eating choices.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students seem more aware of how much they should be exercising and what better food choices they can make. I see the better food choices because I have cafeteria duty and I can talk to them about what choices they have made.
