Brain Breaks are an Important Part of the Day
Students are provided brain breaks in the classrooms. A computer program is used to encourage the students to run and jump in place or practice yoga.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students enjoy taking brain breaks during school time. It gets the class up and active for a few minutes before starting on a different learning objective.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Teachers control the computer program so it appears when students are running faster in place that they are running the race faster on the computer. The staff also encourages students to complete the race.
