Since beginning Fuel Up to Play 60, Kujawa Elementary has vowed not only to get the recommended 60 minutes of exercise a day but to also incorporate Brain Breaks into our class rotations. Brain Gym is a 15-minute workout done in the morning before breakfast. It consists of exercises and movements the whole school participates in at one time. Also during the regular rotation of the day, teachers stop instruction to give their class a chance to get up and get moving, allowing the blood to flow and reach the brain. The teachers and students really enjoy how fun and energetic the whole school is.
