Shapleigh School implemented a breakfast cart that we purchased with Funds for FUTP 60. Breakfast participation has increased by 2% in the first month. We are excited that more students will start their day fueled up and ready to learn.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We talked to Principal Ellis about alternative breakfast ideas because participation has been historically low.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Principal Ellis agreed to try the Grab and Go Breakfast as students come in from the playground. This gives the students the option to play and then eat and not have to choose one or the other.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We hope more students see the cart as they come in and decide to try breakfast. We continue to offer more items and are happy with the 2% increase so far.
