Community Involvement

We are so excited our FUTP 60 team has worked with our food service program to develop a healthy breakfast for dinner for all our 5-8 graders, family and community members. After dinner, our gym will be set up with many activities such as bowling, washer horseshoes, climbing wall and many other activities to get people involved. We also will have community resource tables set such as New England Dairy Council, Department of Health and Nutrition and our community waste management team to name a few. The original date was March 15, but due to a winter storm that closed school for 2 days, we are set to have it on April 11...The best part is we are having the NORWICH UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL TEAM AND COACHES joining us for the event!! So excited!! Will post pictures for sure!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We are hoping to have the community event as an annual event to grow to include more community members

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Scheduling all components has been a challenge and the winter storm was a blow, but we gathered together and have the new plan.
