Breakfast in a Smoothie

We have introduced a new smoothie recipe this year that has been very well received by all of the students. It contains milk, strawberries, and yogurt. The students want it everyday for breakfast.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We have increased our breakfast numbers since the inclusion of smoothies by 40-50 students each week. We are very pleased with the increase in numbers and even have some of our teachers purchase the smoothies for breakfast. We've also heard from teachers that with the increase in breakfast numbers, the students are more focused in the classroom.
