Students in Mr. Schultz's 8th Grade classes were introduced to the Breakfast in the Classroom Program at Millard North Middle School. Eighth Grade PE classes met with the school's head cook and enjoyed a healthy smoothie while they learned about our new breakfast program. We hope to increase the number of students who take breakfast to the classroom. No student should start the day hungry.
How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?
Continue to offer the Breakfast in the Classroom Program.
What improvements have you seen at your school?
The Grab and Go Breakfast in the classroom program has been a wonderful thing for our school. Many students come to their first class hungry. This gives them a new option for breakfast. Since most of our students live according to their parents' schedule, they may not have the option to eat if the family is running late. This program works for kids who are always lat or just late on occasions. No student should have to go to school hungry.
