Breakfast is the Most Important Meal of the Day
I teach that breakfast is the most important meal of the day to my students. When we wake up, our tanks (stomachs) are empty, with little to no fuel in them. That makes our energy level very low. Filling our tanks with the right fuel first thing in the morning, fuels our bodies. It feeds them (Grow grow grow) and gives them the energy and brain power to perform the mental and physical tasks of the day. (Go go go) That’s why we should start our day off right, by eating a healthy breakfast first thing in the morning.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

By promoting FUTP60 in classes and on the school parent communication website Class DOJO on a weekly basis. My librarian assisted me in putting photos on the school website, Twitter and FB. We continue to encourage parents to help their children sign up and get involved together, making FUTP 60 and fitness a family affair.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Reiterating the importance of nutrition, (specifically Dairy) along with fitness, proper sleep and management of stress. This balance helps to keep students accomplishing their goals now and for life.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Continuing throughout the year to teach and plant seeds of greatness to equip students for life!
