Students have been assisting the school's cafe manager with the Grab and Go Breakfast. The FUTP 60 club has team members who will greet students, hand out bags, and assist the students with the food choices of the day for breakfast. The FUTP 60 breakfast team helps the younger kids by making sure they have silverware, napkins, and the proper amount of food necessary to ensure a healthy start to the day.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

One day, I heard the cafe manager asking the kids to wait in line. I then approached her and asked if it would be okay for the FUTP 60 club to help with breakfast. She said yes and so we began to help.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

The FUTP 60 club has created a "breakfast team," three students per day that will help with breakfast time. The breakfast team members will only stand post once a week so they don't miss out on school work.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The biggest challenge that we face is making sure that the student breakfast team members are doing their morning school work when they return to class after helping with breakfast. If academics start to falter then they will miss a day of helping.
