We have invited various athletes from our community to come to our school and talk to students about the importance of being physically active, making healthy food choices, and working hard in the classroom in order to be successful.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

High school, collegiate, and even professional athletes are role models to many of the students in our school. We have been fortunate enough to have these special visits at our school for the past few years. When we are able to have some of these guests come to our school, the students are extremely excited about it. They hear from those they look up to about the importance of eating right, getting lots of exercise, and working hard both in the classroom and out. After these events, students have a better understanding of how all these things can work together to help them be successful. We will continue to invite athletes and health/nutrition specialists from our community to come share their knowledge and passion for healthy eating and physical activity with our school community.
