Breakfast – Grab and Go!

At Bridger, we strive to have every child eat breakfast here. To help with this cause, we have grab and go breakfast stations located throughout the building. We place these stations in high traffic areas, so all students have several opportunities to eat breakfast before going to class. We have these stations in place because we understand that having a healthful breakfast can lead to academic success, better concentration and weight management.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and staff worked together to create a survey for the students to find out what they wanted. Results were analyzed, and we made changes to increase our breakfast locations and options for breakfast.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We've accomplished our goal because the majority of our students are eating breakfast at school. We increased our grab and go by having more stations centrally located throughout the school.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

The improvements have been that more students are eating breakfast, which leads to more academic success, better concentration and weight management.
