Some of our students performed in a healthy eating play at the beginning of the school year, which was viewed by all students, parents and staff members, who attended our PTO meeting. In the play, students talked about the importance of eating healthy, drinking milk and exercising at least 60 minutes a day. Students are also running/walking a sort lap (approximately 200 yrds) before they are able to play during their recess time. During the school year, I have noticed that our students (JFK Elem.) have improved in their running time and endurance.
