Access to Healthy Foods

Today at the Celebration K-8, our principal, vice principal, cafeteria manager, and art teacher picked a selection of beautiful and peaceful colors with the help of a professional colorist for Sherwin Williams. Those colors will be used to paint the cafeteria lunchroom over spring break. Thank you Fuel Up to Play 60!

How did you accomplish your goals?

We searched for vendors and found that Sherwin Williams could best accomodate our needs for the cafeteria makeover.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

We had to request help from the school district to get a professional contractor to do the painting job. It will happen over spring break.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

The cafeteria will be completely transformed thanks to this new layer of paint. The students will also create a permanent art exhibition on the theme of healthy nutrition.
