Access to Healthy Foods

During NSLW we celebrated by taking pictures of the students with Cassie and Betina. We did taste testing all week with fruits and veggies in season and used in recipes. Cassie and Betina gave out samples and told the students why the foods were healthy and to eat their fruits, veggies, dairy, and grains daily.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The adults dressed up and conducted taste testing for the entire student body during lunch time. The lunch monitors and cafeteria staff helped take pictures of the students with Cassie and Betina.
