Students at Charles Wright Academy of Arts and Science participate in ACES day every year. ACES day, or All Children Exercising Simultaneously, is an event that has been around since 1989. It is an international event celebrating health and motivates children to exercise. The Fuel Up to Play 60 committee have been the leaders of this event the last two years. They lead their fellow students in stretching, exercises, dances and then they do 2 miles around their school. The students, teachers, staff and even parents come out and participate and enjoy all the music and activities involved. It is one event that the committee looks forward to every year!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Both the teachers and students work together to ensure that everyone ends up having a good time and is physically active. They work really well together. It gives the students a chance to have fun with their teachers and see them in a different light.
