Cheese Tasting
Our team recently did a cheese tasting event. We ordered 5 different varieties of cheese from a local dairy. Each student had the opportunity to taste each of the five cheeses and then vote for their favorite! The flavors included: Garlic, Bacon Colby, Salami Colby, Dill and Vegetable! Our winner was Bacon Colby.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and adults worked together by organizing this event. Student leaders had to contact the teachers in our building and arrange for times that they could visit each classroom to conduct this event. Adult advisors helped the students conduct the cheese tasting which turned out to be a big success.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The biggest challenge we faced was organizing our carts for presentations. We had just enough cheese for each student in our school and some members of our team took more cheese than they should have, leaving other groups without a certain flavor. They were able to work together to solve this problem and all worked out in the end.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We accomplished our goals through teamwork. We had many meetings to plan, organize, and prepare for this event. Our team worked well together and helped each other out.
