Access to Healthy Foods

We demonstrated how to make mini cheese balls and had our GEVSD Food Service Chef demonstrate how to make a vegetarian chili for two lunch periods. Students learned how to cook and tasted the food.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Students enjoyed the the food demonstration and tasting. They talked about the Super Bowl game. They also increased their dairy consumption that is low through this activity.
