Cloverdale had a kickoff to promote living a healthy lifestyle. We invited Matty from a local radio station Z103. He came and we had a huge dance party outside on the field to promote physical activity. The students and teachers had a ton of fun and we all were being active together. It was nice to see how ramped up the students were for physical activity.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and teachers were working together to become physically fit through dancing.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We had involved the community using z103 as well as reaching out to the local news to show that Cloverdale was becoming a Fuel Up To Play 60 school and students and staff were promising to not only eat healthy but be physically active.
