Cocopah's FUTP Club's Cabinet Continues to Care about Wellness
Cocopah’s Fuel Up Club’s Charter Cabinet members were instrumental in starting the club. The cabinet members worked out in the weight room to “pump it up” and stay active. They implemented the bucket challenge (similar to Cardinals’ QB Bucket Challenge). Cabinet members were active in starting the Mustang Marathon Miler Movement and were on the move by walking or running.. The cabinet members tracked points on-line to become Fuel Up Ambassadors. Cabinet “drafted’ others in friendly games of flag “Fueled Up” Football. Thank you to Cocopah’s Fuel Up Club’s 8th Cabinet members and continued success at Chaparral!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Fuel Up cabinet members needed to work with the Program Advisor, members of APT, teachers, and staff to reserve location sites, obtain equipment, write announcements, create flyers, encourage and recruit students to eat healthy and get active. Cabinet members assisted the PA with set up and clean up. Cabinet members demonstrated how to access the website and other technological assistance.
