At the Color Run fundraiser for our school, all students participate and walk/run a mile. Volunteers color the students with bright colored powder. This brings in school families to help get involved and get active for the day. The students who lead in fundraising get to participate in a GaGa Tournament and Pizza party for the classes with 100% participation for fundraising.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students encouraged each other to collect money/donations for the event. Students encouraged each other on the course.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

This has become an annual event the school and staff look forward too. Parents come in and help make this event a huge success.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students look forward to this event and those students who normally don't like to exercise/walk actually look forward to this event!
