The Heritage FUTP 60 team asked for donations from parents of lady's nylon scarfs. A local tennis center donated over 40 tennis balls. The FUTP 60 team secured a scarf onto each tennis ball to create over 40 comet balls for recess. The only cost was a $1 package of hairbands that were used to secure the scarf onto the ball!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The FUTP60 Program Advisor arranged for donations and the student team made the comet balls.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

The balls will be used for recess all year. When a scarf tears, a new one will be put on. We will ask for donations as needed.
