Copperfield Elementary cannot thank Fuel Up to Play 60 and Dairy Max enough. They have given our students amazing opportunities which they will never forget. We are so thankful for everything and will continue to promote leadership, activity, and nutrition at Copperfield Elementary.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

We are focusing on a student-led Fuel Up to Play 60 team. This year, the coaches were working on teaching leadership skills and goal setting to our student-led team.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Technology and Time. These are our two biggest challenges. We are trying to work on meeting with our team more in creative ways during the school day. Also, we have been working with our computer teacher to get our students onto the website but honestly, it is confusing for elementary students. We are thinking of making little power point of ways to promote Fuel Up to Play 60. This year we showed several youtube videos.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Excitement! Our students are excited to talk about fitness and nutrition.
