During our kickoff assembly at CCL Elementary in Aberdeen, SD, we had the opportunity to have Craig Harrison, a USA World Triathlete, share his experiences and lifestyle to our 3-5th grade students. Craig has been racing around the US for about 20 years and has represented his age group for the USA in the world championships. His most recent race for the USA was in Italy this summer. He shared that he will begin training for the qualifying rounds that take place in New Jersey for the opportunity to represent the USA in Australia.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We as a school are focusing on working together and teamwork. We have different ideas for our walking club to invite parents as well as different community members to come walk with our kids in the mornings.
