On the week of September 28th Craycroft celebrated a wellness week. The week was filled with many fitness and nutrition activities. A few of these activities were especially noteworthy. Before school began each day students enjoyed taste test. Some of these taste test included strawberries, blackberries, apples, oranges, and bananas with peanut butter. Morning announcements were made about each day's activities and promoting Fuel Up to Play 60. Every afternoon the fifth grade students went around to all the classes to lead them in brain break exercises. On Friday Craycroft held its first Boot Camp. A group from Davis-Monthan led the parents, teachers, and students in a variety of exercises. After school activities were performed with families and recorded on Family Fitness Cards. At the end of the week all the students who had their cards filled out and signed, turned them in and were encouraged to log in their activity on FUTP60 website. The class with the most cards will receive a prize. Everyone is so excited and can't wait until the next wellness week.
