We had an after-school Fuel Up to Play 60 Kickoff. Our students brought their parents and put them through stations (named after football plays). Each station was either a fitness station and/or a nutrition station. Students had to teach their parents all of the exercises and make sure they were using the proper technique. In the picture, we have one of our students teaching his father some jump rope skills. At the completion of the stations, students were encouraged to take a photo on our FUTP 60 photo wall and each one got some cool FUTP 60 prizes to take home!
How did students and adults work together as a team?
The students were in charge! They took their parents from station to station and explained each one, including an explanation of the Fuel Up to Play 60 program.
