Our school now participates in daily homeroom exercises at the start of every school day, sponsored by our FUTP 60 team. Our school runs on a 5 day rotation so each day there are 2 different exercises for the students, and teachers, to complete to jump-start their day. These exercises correlate with the rotation days. A lot of positive feedback has been given by students, teachers, and administration.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students came up with the exercises and adults are allowing these exercises to take place at the beginning of their first period class.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Each rotation days exercises are announced over the loud speaker for the students to complete. Teachers also have a copy of these exercises and the rotation day they correspond with.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students are excited to do the exercises in the morning and ask me about other exercises they can learn and do in the classrooms.
