We decided to add more dairy products to our Snack Shack. Our students decided on several products and then submitted the results to our nutrition director and cafeteria manager. We've decided to offer a different dairy product on a rotating basis. Our FUTP 60 team will promote next month's item by making posters and displaying in the cafeteria.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We accomplished our goals by getting the students involved. The students make it successful. When they are a part of the planning and decision-making, they take ownership.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Everyone is on board. We will continue the Play through the year. At the beginning of next year, our FUTP 60 team will poll the students and implement new products.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

We've already experienced success. The students are involved and taking ownership. We've started "fueling up" our cafeteria with posters. Students are consuming dairy products and wanting more.
