Dance Party Intro at Little

Students participate in student-led stretching and warm ups every day. We use a Tabata workout that allows the kids to mix both jogging skills with dance for the ultimate cardio endurance workout. Not only is the warm up productive but it's also SUPER FUN!!! Our kids love it! Everyone is given a chance to lead during the year and it allows the students an opportunity to release their wiggles in a fun creative way.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

More kids participate regularly when they are given more creative control over their learning environment.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

I plan to use this warm up daily until each child is given an opportunity to lead. This is a great concept that allows children to feel comfortable in their own skin.
