Our students are walking every Tuesday and gathering their 5000 steps. By the end of the semester we hope to have all our students marking up 5000 steps or more every Tuesday and running or walking 1.5 miles .

How did you accomplish your goals?

We had all the students wear pedometers to help track their steps. Once they got used to the walking and pedometers, they knew what was expected. Every Tuesday is our Daytona 5000 day

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We will continue to go to the track every Tuesday this fall semester then add a day in the Spring semester.
