Access to Healthy Foods

This was another veggie we spotlighted and let students know it was fresh from a local farm. We roasted it with salt-free seasonings and offered it as a side on our self-serve bar.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students are excited when we tell them items are fresh from a local farm or that they have come from the school garden.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We will continue to spotlight fruits and veggies from local sources when they are in season.
